DO YOU BUY SADDLES

Yes, we sure do!

Go to the Saddle to Sell form on the FORMS page. Please remember we are buying at the wholesale price. If your saddle is what we are currently buying then we will let you know.  Sometimes we have enough stock or your saddle may not be what we're looking for.

  • KINCADE

Saddles we DO NOT buy:

​

  • Old or damaged saddles-please carefully inspect saddle for any damage first.

  • Saddles that need repairing.

  • Saddles that need re-packing.

  • Indian saddles.

  • Saddles more than 20 years old.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We have a 7 day trial on our saddles to ensure the saddle fits your horse. The full cost of the saddle & postage must be paid prior to saddle being released.

​

Upon purchase the 7 day trial is automatically applied through check-out -bank deposit or card payment (if paying by card the BANK FEES are non-refundable) or cash payments are the only accepted forms of payment to be eligible for the trail.

​

If returning the saddle there is a $35 admin fee. This applies both to returns by mail & returns in person. 

​

Saddle can then be picked up at from the Gold Coast or posted. Postage is $80 flat rate Australia wide. (see shipping)

​

The saddle must be returned in the same condition it left. We do not refund if the saddle is returned with any marks,scatches or damage. The cost of returning a saddle is the buyer's responsibility & must be returned the way it was sent in a box-a label will be included in the package .No label?contact us we can email you one. The 7 days trial starts from when the saddle arrives to you via Australia Post or courier tracking-arrival date = DAY ONE of trial.

All saddles are extensively photographed & videoed before they leave so we have a record of their condition. This is to protect the seller & buyer .

Saddles trial begins on the day that it arrives to the buyer-we can see this via courier or Australia post & must be back in the mail if you are returning it by DAY 7 at the latest. 'The return saddle' form must be filled out & sent  the on-line form so we know to expect it. If you know the saddle isn't going to fit please inform us & send back as soon as possible please.

If saddle does'nt arrive back in this time-frame of 7 days-then we can sell the saddle for you on consignment after the 7 day period.

NO EXCEPTIONS TO OUR & DAY TRIAL  TERMS & CONDITION

FOR EXAMPLE:

​

Saddle is posted Wednesday 1st MARCH & IT ARRIVES Friday 3rd March - the 7 DAY TRIAL starts that day it arrives Friday 3rd March& runs until Friday 10th March.  If you are returning the saddle it must be posted & in mail by the 7th day at the latest.

We will need the ONLINE SADDLE RETURN FORM FILLED OUT ON-LINE so we know to expect the saddle back.Refunds will be payed within 48 hours of saddle being returned. 

DO YOU CONSIGN SADDLES ON COMMISSION ?

Yes we do.

If your saddle requires any repairs or panel re-fills please have this done prior  to sending.

All saddles are to be sent/dropped off "shop ready"....this means  cleaned/polished/oiled and ready to be photographed.

Alternatively you can book your saddle in for a "make-over". Depending on how dusty/dirty/mouldy  the saddle is this will cost from $35 & will need to be noted on the consignment form.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept direct deposit ,visa, master card or cash.

To be eligible for the 7 day trial saddles must be paid either by cash or bank deposit which is the easiest preferred way from our end just in case we need to refund .Card are excepted *T * C apply to refunds.

If paying by via visa or master card BANK FEES are not refundable.
All returned saddles incur a $35 return fee to cover any bank/re-stocking /admin charges .

SADDLE FITTING

If you are booking a saddle fitter please make sure you have pre-booked them within the 7 day trial period so the saddle can be returned within the trial period. We don't extend the trail times as often there is someone on our wait-list to try the saddle as NIL (next in line) if it needs to be sent back.

The saddle is not to be changed or altered in any way unless you have agreed with the saddle fitter it will fit your horse & are 100% buying it. If it has been altered in a way it voids the return.

WHAT IF A SADDLES GETS DAMAGED

If a saddle is damaged in transit it must be reported IMMEDIATELY on the DAY OF DELIVERY to you along with photos please. They are well wrapped & boxed to avoid damage so it is rare for anything to happen to them.


If the saddle is damaged(this includes scratches /scapes or worse)  in your care there are no refunds as the care of the saddle is your responsibility.


Alway keep a cover on the saddle & keep it away from  your horses so it cant be knocked, bitten ,knocked off a rail ,stepped on or fall to the ground .

Our stock often belongs to a client & is here on consignment & we pride ourselves on looking after our clients property & appreciate the same respect to the saddles.

WHAT VOIDS A RETURN

  • Altering the saddle in any way.

  • If the saddle is damaged in any way. Superficial or structural.

  • Not being returned in the time-frame agreed at sale/contract in the same condition they arrived in.

  • Oiling or putting any product on a trail saddle.

​

HOW MANY SADDLES CAN I TRY

As many as it takes to find the perfect saddle. Each will be an individual purchase /trial so the same terms & conditions apply to each saddle.We have no limit on the number of saddle you can try .
